I realised this game on Thonny a free application using python and i never try to use it on another platform, just below I made a small tutorial to play in less than 5 minutes
I made this game because my teachers asked me but I added a lot of features afterwards to have fun

Firstly you need to download this document, in this last one you have the program, the images and the sounds allowing you to play
Then you will need an application that can use the python language, I created the game on Thonny the software on which I learned the python language.

After, you can open the folder and launch the Space Invaders file but it is possible that the game does not launch because the « Pygame » module is not installed, just open « Tools » at the top of the application (red rectangle on the picture) then « Manage Packages… » and research pygame then you install it and you can launch the game.
And now you can play 😉
For that you need to use left and right arrows to move and space bar to shoot
1 -> Choose level
2 -> Start level selected
3 -> One versus One
(controll of player one top arrow = Up | down arrow = Down | Enter = Shoot) (controll of player two Z = Up | S = Down | space bar = Shoot)
4 -> Choose skin (only for solo)
